Date of the latest revision of this Privacy Policy: 12 October 2026.
1. GENERAL
Lucky Boom is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy sets out the information collected when the services are used, the reasons for collection and the manner in which it is used.
This Privacy Policy is concluded between the user and Lucky Boom (hereafter "we", "us" or "our") and is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Lucky Boom.
The website Lucky Boom (the "Casino", "Website", "Company", "We", "Us", "Our") is owned and operated by MAIREKE LIMITADA, a company registered in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica.
This Privacy Policy may be changed periodically. Changes will be notified by publication of the modified text on our platforms, and users are advised to review it regularly.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTED
Information that may identify an individual, including but not limited to first and last name, date of birth, home or other physical address, email address and telephone number, is regarded as Personal Information ("Personal Information"). It may be requested when the website or services are used or an account is registered, and may comprise contact details (including telephone number), shipping and billing details, transaction history, website usage preferences and feedback concerning the Services. The information is held on servers located in Costa Rica and elsewhere from time to time. When the services are used, our servers keep an activity log specific to the user, recording administrative and traffic data such as the source IP address, time and date of access, pages visited, language used, software crash reports and type of browser. These data are essential to the provision and quality of the services. No Personal Information is collected without the user's knowledge.
3. MEANS OF COLLECTION AND PROCESSING
Certain data are collected automatically, as described above, and Personal Information is received where it is provided through the services or in other communication and interaction on Lucky Boom. Personal Information may also be received from online vendors and service providers and from customer lists lawfully acquired from third-party vendors. Third-party service providers may be engaged to provide technical support, process online transactions and maintain accounts; they will have access to the information provided to them, and the Personal Information will be used as set out in this Privacy Policy. It will be disclosed to third parties outside the company only in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and arrangements with service providers and online vendors are designed to protect privacy.
4. USE OF INFORMATION
Personal Information is used to deliver the Services, provide customer support, carry out necessary security and identity verification checks, process online transactions, assist participation in third-party promotions, meet business requirements and for any other purpose related to the operation of the Services. For these purposes it may be shared with carefully selected partners, including parties with which they have data-sharing arrangements.
Personal Information may also be used to provide (1) promotional offers and information about our own products and services and (2) those of our partners, in order to widen the range offered and to improve customer service. Surveys or contests may occasionally be conducted; participation is voluntary, and the information requested may include contact details (name, correspondence address, telephone number) and demographic details (postal code, age). By accepting a contest prize or winnings, the user consents to the use of their name for advertising and promotion without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Unless the user has chosen not to receive promotional information, Personal Information (including email address and telephone number) may be used to provide information on our products, services and promotions, including other gaming products (online poker, casino, betting, backgammon) and the products and services of carefully selected third parties.
5. DISCLOSURES
Personal Information may be disclosed where the law requires, or where it is believed in good faith to be necessary to (1) comply with legal process served on us, on any of our sites or on the services, or in circumstances of a substantially similar legal obligation, (2) protect and defend our rights or property or (3) protect the personal safety of users or the public. If, in our sole determination, a user is found to have cheated or attempted to defraud us, the company or another user in any way, including game manipulation or payment fraud, or is suspected of fraudulent payment (including use of stolen credit cards), other fraudulent activity (including chargebacks or other reversals) or a prohibited transaction (including money laundering), we reserve the right to share this information, together with the user's identity, with other online gaming sites, banks, credit card companies and the appropriate agencies and authorities. (4) For research on the prevention of addiction, data may be anonymised and passed to the relevant institutions.
6. ACCESS
The user may opt out of promotional communications through the account settings on our sites or services, through a link in an email received from us, or at any time by writing to Customer Service.
The user may also contact us to 1) confirm the accuracy of the Personal Information held, 2) update it, or 3) make a complaint about its use. On request we will (1) update information supplied, where the necessity of the change is shown, or (2) mark information to prohibit future use for marketing. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Privacy Policy prevents us from retaining Personal Information where required by law.
7. COOKIES
Information placed on the device
When the services are accessed, information may be stored on the user's device. This information is referred to as cookies, small text files stored on the device when online pages are visited, which record preferences. We also use Local Shared Objects, or "flash cookies", which resemble browser cookies and allow us to remember aspects of visits across our sites. Neither can be used to access or use other information on the computer, and we use them solely to track the use of our services. Cookies help us to monitor traffic, to improve the services and to make them easier or more relevant to use. Flash cookies and third-party cookies are used to help show more relevant and desirable advertisements.
Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are essential to enable a user to move around a website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas or making financial transactions. Without them our websites could not operate efficiently.
During registration
These cookies hold information collected during registration, allow us to recognise the user as a customer and to provide the services required, and may be used to understand the user's interests online and to improve visits to our platforms.
On our website
For visitors to our website, cookies are used to collect information. Our servers use three types of cookie:
A "session" cookie: allocated to the computer only for the duration of a visit. It helps the user move around the website more quickly and, for registered customers, allows us to provide more relevant information. It expires automatically when the browser is closed.
A "persistent" cookie: remains on the computer for a period set for each cookie. Flash cookies are also persistent.
"Analytical" cookies: allow us to recognise and count visitors and to see how they use our services, which helps us improve how our sites work, for instance by ensuring that users find what they seek easily.
Cookies may be accepted or declined. Most browsers accept them automatically, but the settings can usually be changed to decline them. The Help menu of most browsers explains how to prevent acceptance of new cookies, how to be notified of a new cookie and how to disable cookies altogether.
Flash cookies
The Flash Player settings can be modified to prevent flash cookies. The Settings Manager allows preferences to be managed. To disallow flash cookies from all third-party content, open the "Global Storage Settings" panel of the Settings Manager, deselect "Allow third-party flash content to store information on your computer" and close the Settings Manager. Settings for particular websites can instead be adjusted in the "Website Storage Settings" panel of the Settings Manager.
With an old version of Flash Player or an old browser, the Settings Manager may be unavailable; we recommend updating Flash Player and the browser to the latest versions.
If cookies are declined, not all interactive features of our sites may be available.
8. CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC SERVICE PROVIDERS
To play real-money games on our services, money must be sent to and received from us. We may use third-party electronic payment systems to process these transactions. By accepting this Privacy Policy, the user expressly consents to the Personal Information necessary for processing transactions, including, where necessary, its transfer outside the country. Arrangements with payment systems are designed to protect privacy.
9. CONSENT TO SECURITY REVIEW
We may conduct a security review at any time to validate registration data and to verify use of the services and financial transactions for possible breaches of our Terms and Conditions and of applicable law. By using the services and so agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, the user authorises the use and disclosure of Personal Information to third parties to validate information provided, including, where necessary, transfer outside the country. Security reviews may include ordering a credit report or verifying information against third-party databases, and the user agrees to provide the information or documents requested to facilitate them. 10. SECURITY
We understand the importance of security and the techniques required to secure information. All Personal Information received directly from the user is stored in an encrypted and password-protected database within our secure network, behind active state-of-the-art firewall software. (Our Services support SSL Version 3 with 128-bit encryption.) We also take measures to ensure that our subsidiaries, agents, affiliates and suppliers employ adequate security measures.
11. PROTECTION OF MINORS
Our Services are not intended for or directed at persons under eighteen (18) (or the lawful age in their jurisdiction). Anyone who provides information through the services signifies that they are eighteen (18) or older (or of the lawful age in their jurisdiction). It is our policy to uncover attempts by minors to access the services, which may require a security review. If we become aware that a minor has attempted to submit, or has submitted, personal information, it will not be accepted and steps will be taken to purge it from our records.
12. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Personal Information collected through the services may be stored and processed in any country where we or our affiliates, suppliers or agents maintain facilities. By using the services the user expressly consents to any transfer outside their country, including to countries that may not be assessed as having adequate privacy laws. Steps are nevertheless taken to ensure that agents, affiliates and suppliers comply with our privacy standards regardless of location.
13. THIRD-PARTY PRACTICES
We cannot ensure the protection of information given to a third-party website that links to or from the services, or of information collected by a third party administering our affiliate programme (if applicable) or any other programme, since those sites are owned and operated independently. Information they collect is governed by their own privacy policy, if any.
14. DISCLAIMER
The Services operate "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without liability of any kind. We are not responsible for events beyond our direct control. Given the complex and ever-changing nature of our technology and business, error-free performance regarding the privacy of Personal Information cannot be guaranteed or claimed, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages relating to the use or release of Personal Information.
15. CONSENT TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Use of our services constitutes agreement to this Privacy Policy.
This is our entire and exclusive Privacy Policy and supersedes any earlier version. It is to be read together with the Terms and Conditions and any additional applicable terms posted on our platforms. We may change it periodically and will notify changes by posting the modified text on our platforms; continued use of the services after a change constitutes acceptance. Users are advised to review it regularly.
In addition, under Article 77 of the GDPR, a complaint relating to the processing of data may be lodged with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
16. OTHER WEBSITES
Our website may contain links to other websites that are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. If those sites are accessed through the links, their operators may collect information and use it in accordance with their own privacy policy, which may differ from ours. We are not responsible; the operators alone are responsible for the functioning of, and errors on, the linked sites.
17. OTHER PROVISIONS
All versions of the Privacy Notice other than the English version are provided for information only; in the event of any discrepancy or conflict, the English version prevails.
18. DATA RETENTION
As stated in the Terms and Conditions, both the user and the Casino may have the Player Account closed at any time. After closure, personal data are retained on record for as long as required by law and used only where required by competent authorities in enquiries concerning financial and fiscal records, fraud, money laundering or any other illegal activity.
It should be noted that, owing to anti-money-laundering regulation in licensed gaming jurisdictions in the European Union, personal data submitted at registration, and any data passed on during the operative period of a Player Account, must be retained for a minimum of five years from the last player transaction or the closure of the account. Requests for erasure before that period lapses cannot be entertained.
We use cookies to improve the service, analyse traffic and personalise content.
